Atlanta won game 1 of the three game series vs. the Yankees.  I heard in the pre-game show on Monday that New York has only lost one series all season. 

Fake news. The Yankees are playing well and have won most of their series but they have lost a few.

You are right and I could have miss-heard the announcer to be honest.  I looked over their schedule and they have failed to win seven series.  They split a four game series to Toronto early in the season, Lost 3 of 4 to Baltimore, lost 2 of 3 to Boston in mid-April, slit two games with Miami, lost 2 of 3 to Texas in late May, split 2 with Detroit then got swept by Tampa Bay in 3 games in late June.  Still very impressive regardless... IMO, Atlanta had a good chance to win the series against them but just didn't put forth the effort...

The Red Sox have been hot since dropping the series to the Yankees. They are the first team in MLB to win 60 games and have a 2 game lead on the Yanks. They are having a great season but they cannot let up any at all because the Yankees are playing so well.
