Arkansas lost again last night 5-0...  Angry  Oregon State's pitcher was incredible.  I think Arkansas didn't get a base runner after the 3rd inning...

OSU weakness was pitching depth. They rolled out an ace every time I watched them in this CWS and kept the bats of a very strong Arkansas lineup quite. OSU deserved it. They were the better team in this 3 game series.

I think they were only marginally better.  IMO, either team deserved the trophy.  The OSU pitcher yesterday threw over 125 pitches...  Shocked

I watched a good bit of all 3 games and felt OSU kept the pressure on Arkansas in all games. They left runners in scoring position often. They outhit the hogs in all three games getting 28 hits in the series to 14 of Arkansas. Arkansas was one out away from winning it in game 2 so the teams matched up well. I was very impressed that OSU could shut down the Arkansas offensive. I did not think that would happen.

[/quote]You are right and I could have miss-heard the announcer to be honest.  I looked over their schedule and they have failed to win seven series.  They split a four game series to Toronto early in the season, Lost 3 of 4 to Baltimore, lost 2 of 3 to Boston in mid-April, slit two games with Miami, lost 2 of 3 to Texas in late May, split 2 with Detroit then got swept by Tampa Bay in 3 games in late June.  Still very impressive regardless... IMO, Atlanta had a good chance to win the series against them but just didn't put forth the effort...
