The Braves won 3 of 4 this weekend against the Mets.  Still 1-1/2 games behind Philly though I think...Time to step it up Braves...

The Braves would receive the second wild card spot as it stands this morning. Their margin of error is razor thin since they only have a 1/2 game lead.

Justin Thomas is following up his terrific season last year where he lead the PGA in wins, money list, FedEx points and was Player of the Year with another very good season. He currently is #1 on the money list winning $7,558,980, #2 ranked player in the world and #2 in FedEx points.  He has three tour wins that has him tied for first in number of wins. In his short career he has won 9 PGA tournaments, 1 major, shot a low round of 59 and has won over $24M in prize money. JT is for real.

Did anyone see the Braves Ronald Acuna get hit in the elbow yesterday in the final game against the Marlins?  Right on the bone with a 97 mph fastball.  Benches cleared, Marlin's pitcher tossed, Braves' manager tossed.  Braves went on to win and sweep the Marlins...

The pitcher that hit Acuna lead MLB last year and so far this year in the stat of hitting batters.  I wouldn't be in favor of banning him but definitely suspending him for the rest of the season...

I heard the play-by-play live last night then saw the video of it this morning.  I would be surprised if it wasn't intentional.

 earlier today he was listed as day to day,  but now he's in the lineup to start out tonight's game

He got a leadoff hit, but that was it. Braves lost to the Rockies, 5-3.
