Chaac is relentless. What's he got against Mississippi?

He had a laugh on me yesterday as I was out for my run. He doused me with a renegade, pre-summer t-storm. I didn't care, as I hit the 50 lb mark. 2 lbs to go!
 Jumping Jumping

I'm surprised that the rain found any of you to hit.  Wow, 50 lbs!!
I've worked to lose 10, and can't imagine how hard you worked to rid 50 lbs of blubber.

Yes, Chaac returns today.  Can't decide if he loves or hates Mississippi.  He keeps returning; thunder/lightning/storms is what he does!

That reminds me of a line Jed Clampett said once about a skinny model that Jethro was chasing:

"You couldn't hit that girl with a handfull of corn."

Keep an eye on the weather, Chech. I will too, as I head to Montgomery this evening.

I played golf today. The course played very long due to wet fairways and being soft in front of greens. Point Mallard in Decatur plays 6,650 yds and with very little roll it played more like 7,000.

We expect more rain tomorrow and I hope to play again Sunday. I am trying to get my game in good shape for next week. I have a customer visiting from Boston that has been snowed in all winter and wants to play. I am taking him to two of the best courses the Robert Trent Jones Trail has to offer. On Monday we are playing Ross Bridge in B'ham. On Wednesday we are playing the School Master at The Shoals. Throw in the wining and dining and I have a fun week ahead of me.

I see a golf outing in the CRS future!

Chaac left us 2" of rain last night, but nothing severe.  He's over at Birmingham this morning.  Looks like we'll have a pretty day for the Arts Festival!

Jumping

Have a great day, all.

Morning all. Coffee

We had more rain as well last night but I don't think we got 2 inches worth. I have plans to take my BIL bass fishing this morning if the stormy weather holds off and it looks like this afternoon is when all of that cranks up again.

We had a big crowd at the softball game last night including new head basketball coach Avery Johnson. As expected, he was a big hit with the crowd. Losing that first game to the Vols sure gave me a lot of indigestion.

Chech, I hope all of your celebration plans go well today and I hope 2 doesn't get all of the stormy weather that is predicted for his area.

Have a great day everyone. Pray Cheesy

My $2.00 rain gauge shows almost 1" of rain last night. The weather looks good for the next few days. We are going to hit 80 today so maybe it will dry some of this water up.

Thanks J and mull.

My rain gauge prolly cost about $2 too, but it was right at the 2.0 line.  It rained HARD starting at midnight, and I awoke again to heavy rain at 1:00 and 2:00.  I thought the rain gauge might be floating this morning!

Keep those REC boys in line, J, and enjoy the bass fishing.  I need to get back to that myself.  My boat has some new additions that have never seen the water.

Well, I am going out to the garage to learn how to weld this morning.  I have been getting all the equipment together for the past week.  I was able to get the electrical work done last weekend to install a 230V outlet in the garage.  I finally have some free time today to plug the machine up and see what happens.  I have enough safety equipment to protect myself from a nuclear meltdown, but hopefully it won't come to that.  If you see a mushroom cloud over NE Alabama and you don't hear from me any more you will know what happened.
