He's a wirey, boney little thing, and after losing 49 lbs., I am too. He sat in my lap, no, make that wriggled in my lap, almost the whole game, then I had to carry him down the ramp on my shoulders. I feel like I've been on the losing end of a prize fight, this morning.  

Wish I could have gone to meet him and see you.
Did any of the other guys meet up with you?
Any word from the Jamos honeymooners??  

Did not get a chance to meet up with any of the guys, however, J and I texted back and forth for a bit. They accomplished their mission and he sent me a pic of them all decked out. I almost didn't recognize J without his cap.

Our weather was gorgeous this afternoon after a ton of rain this morning. We are supposedly good until Thursday. Didn't get to play golf today, though. We came to the aid of our friend, who was in the hospital and needed a ride home after she was released. I may sneak out tomorrow afternoon, though.

She would do the same for us. She was a very sick gal. Glad she got well enough to come home.

We had a bad night.  Two lines of severe storms hit, one at about 11:15PM and another after 1AM.  No tornadoes, as far as I know, but limbs down and green leaves all over our deck and driveway.  It hailed LOTS during the first storms, and the wind ripped at trees; lightning almost constant.  Glad it passed -- thanks for the prayers, Preacher.

Today looks like a beautiful, bright spring day.  Go figure!

Morning gents. Glad to see that you guys made out OK with these storms. We are supposed to get some strong t-storms this afternoon as well.

Well boys, I crossed that threshhold today, and there is no going back. Today, cbbama99 turned 40 years old.

Whew what a weekend, the house almost has an echo this morning. I finally am able to get to the computer this morning and see what has been going on in the world of sports. 2, glad you and family had a fun day on campus last Saturday. I had to do a lot of explaining to some folks over the weekend about why I wasn't at ADay and I told them to look at the top of my head and they would understand why. I had plenty of hair when I got married 50 years ago and showed them a picture of proof but 3 months after the marriage, no hair. Naturally Mrs. J wasn't standing anywhere close during that conversation.

It was a great family weekend as we had folks from as far away as California, Idaho, Minnesota, Iowa and New Hampshire that spent the weekend at our home. It was a bit crowed and loud but lots of fun and what the heck, it won't ever happen again.

Anyway, we are going to spend a few days in the Memphis area. I've always wanted to visit some of their history there and have never taken the time make that happen so we are going to stay at the Peabody with the ducks and walk the streets and take in a few tours of the area and eat some of their good food.

J. glad you got through it with flying colors, like you did. I know you and Mrs J will spend some time catching your breath this week. Y'all deserve it!
