Thank heavens the rain has stopped, for now. More on the way, though. I think it's this way pretty much all over the south. Like my old drunk Uncle Mortimer, I hope the drying out starts soon.

We actually had a day without rain yesterday, but will not be so lucky today. Thunder and lightning fill the sky as I type. Big storm heading this way.

The forecast not looking good for the A Day game, but my grandson assures me that they will still play in the rain, so we will be heading to T-Town early Saturday morning. He is stoked.

RAINING AGAIN.   Cry

It's the monsoon season (this week).  I managed to mow the lawn between showers yesterday, but that must have pissed off Chaac; he sent me thunderstorms already today.

At least the flowers look good.  Our amaryllis are blooming like crazy, and the woods are green and lush.

Raining again here, too. Monsoon season, indeed!  At least the game time forecast for tomorrow isn't looking quite as bleak. Still calling for rain, but the chances and intensity have gone down.
