It has been a beautiful week, and today will be too.  We're putting the finishing touches on a house today.  Supposed to reach 70 degrees, clear and sunny.

The Giants need him, and a lot more defensive players. Good to see that smile on his face.

The weatherman really missed it with the overnight low prediction of 61 degrees. It's 52 right now. Will still be in the 70's later for my grandson's tee ball game and golf after that, so I'm not complaining.

BTW, I reached my goal yesterday of losing 52 lbs.

I am happy so far with the Ravens draft (except Ozzie still hasn't taken a Bama guy yet    ).  I wanted to find a pacle to watch the fight tonight, but myself, mrs. cbbama, and little cbbama are going to a minor league baseball game just down the road from us tonight. Your Bowie Baysox (AA team of the Orioles) against Harrisburg (Pa). Congrats to 2 on the weight loss!! I need to follow suit. Have a great one, guys.

They do that here in P'cola too, except that it's done between innings. They really get the kids involved. Season tickets are sold out every year here to businesses. They, in turn, resell them to the public, so Clint Studer, the owner, is making money. He puts it back into the games and community. The team has never been good, but there is a good crowd for every game. Pensacola has never supported sports teams until lately, so this is good to see. The hockey team is also getting support.

Wow, what a beautiful weekend we've had!  This morning is cool and dry, birds are singing, and the flowers are blooming.  I think I'll take my coffee outside and enjoy it.

Good plan. It's nice here too. Went and watched the grandson murder the ball in tee ball yesterday, then tried to find a pacle to play golf. Regular golf group had honeydo issues and couldn't play, so I didn't make a tee time. Went to 3 courses and all 3 had tournaments. Went home and pleased Mrs 2. I went to work on my honeydo list, too. (What were you thinking I did?  )

I am not a boxing fan either but the media has talked about it non-stop so I was mildly interested. I wanted Mayweather to lose because he is such a jerk but I thought he would win.

My pick in the Derby, Frosted, finished fourth. He was a semi-favorite with 9-1 odds. American Pharoah was the favorite at 3-1 odds and won a close race by 1/2 length.

I am not a boxing fan either but the media has talked about it non-stop so I was mildly interested. I wanted Mayweather to lose because he is such a jerk but I thought he would win.

It was a good Derby race, indeed. Didn't even know it was coming on until late yesterday afternoon, due to all the hype of the fight.

I did not watch the fight. Mayweather is boring to watch. He may be a good tactical boxer, but his fights are snooze-fests. He doesn't throw any power punches. From everything I've read on other forums from people who did watch it, they were disappointed for the reasons I just mentioned. I hope somebody like D. Wilder can bring some luster back to boxing. The sport has really declined in recent years. We can thank Don King for a lot of that.
