So who is going to replace Kiffin if he leaves? Helfrich from Oregon? We seem to be the hospital for college coaches, lol. RTR!

SARK

Chech -- Would Sark be in interim hire or permanent?

If Kiff leaves before the playoff games, I think the team will close ranks and strongly support whoever comes in even if on an interim basis.

I don't think Saban has ever had a permanent OC...

My one concern is will this affect us by all this media crap against Fla or in the playoffs? Somebody with a little better feel for this please give some kind of insight. RTR!

The team is very focused right now, Preacher. NALT could be the OC right now and we'd still kick errbody's behinds.  Cool

I know we are so close to #17 we can smell it and I would hate to see a coach flip floppin on whether or whether not, and mess our offense up. RTR!

Of course Kiffin could go to LSU or somewhere else.  I am fairly certain that Clay Travis and Bruce Feldman are not in the loop though.  They are just speculating.

If he has an offer he can't refuse to be the LSU OC, then I can't imagine he would leave before the season is over.  He would follow Kirby's example from last year.  And Kirby was going to be a head coach, not a coordinator.  Do you think he would really turn down the chance for another national championship so he could get a head start at being the OC at another school?  I don't think so.

So, I anticipate that he will be here through the rest of the season.  After that, who knows.

Are Coach O and Coach K so close that he would be willing to work for someone who use to work for him?

Or else the money that Kiffin would make at LSU. He's been promised to be made the highest paid OC in the country.

I'm hearing from a good source that it's looking like he may be leaving sooner than later. Not definite yet, but info pointing to that.
