Kiffin to interview for HC job at Houston.  IMO, that would be better than going to LSU as the OC...

not sure, but, Joey could be kin to Brandon Chicken

He's first cousin to Carlos Danger.

Let this sink in; Have you ever seen Joey Freshwater and Brandon Chicken in the same room?

On Thursday, LSU insider Mike Detillier reported that Saturday’s SEC title game would be Kiffin’s final appearance as a Crimson Tide coach.

To me this Houston report sounds more credible than any of the other rumors floating out there, except maybe LSU.  If Kiff tell CNS that this is a job he'd like to have, then I have no trouble thinking CNS would try to help him get it.  CNS is a pretty good character reference.

It's good for Kiff's thinking to get an interview like this.  Hope the possibility of an HC job will cause him to pause in taking the LSU position.

and another comment:This isn’t personal. As much as I’d like to make it sound like “we’re stealing him from Bama,” that just isn’t the case. Alabama renegotiated his contract without an extension.

Yeah, he gone.
Looking like Houston will offer him the job.  If so...

Just saw an alert that Briles is out at Houston. Not surprising since Houston has a female President.

If Sark's not next, every up and coming OC in the country will jump at the opportunity to play with Bama's toy box and be mentored by Saban.

We replaced the best DC in the country last year and the defense got better this year. The offense is going to be a beast next year regardless of the OC.

THIS is certainly true.
Sark is definitely out; Coach Saban moving on.

USA Today reporting that Kiffin to Houston is all but official.

Quote
Houston has decided on Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin to be its next football coach, pending a Thursday meeting at which school President Renu Khator will have to give the final OK, two people with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports. Those people spoke on the condition of anonymity because the school had not yet announced the move.
