Good morning folks.  Hanging out with the family today.  No mowing. 

Runt's concert went pretty good yesterday.  He sang 9 Elvis songs.  They took up a contribution for him and so he wound up with $200.  My aunt's husband also gave him $20 so in all he came home with $220.  Not a bad night for a 15 y/o...  Now, as his "manager" what is the normal commission?

Well a brother came over this morning and took up our toilet to get some floor work done and took out that heavy A/C for us. Maybe we get plastic and start getting ready for winter. RTR!

We pulled one out last night. I guess that's all we can ask for. I really hate that Tua is hurt. Nothing against Mac, but even Arky may give us trouble next week. Praying for a fast recovery for Tua, but we all know that high ankle sprains don't heal quickly.

Between that and being buried by the totem pole, yesterday was pretty tough for this ole boy.

Wow, the picks were crazy good after being crazy bad last week.  Yep, 2, I see you there holding the totem.  I barely made the front page with 7-3.
 

Going to be a long day at the knife show for me.  Lots of people; lots of driving tonight.

Good morning folks.  With Tua down we are going to be a totally different team.  The bad part to me even if we do beat arKansas is that game will give opponents the chance to get some game film of Mack so they will be able to gameplan against him just in case... Hopefully Tua's ankle injury is very minor even though it is a high ankle sprain...

How good is Mac? Too bad we didn't run a two-qb offense this season. Maybe we can borrow Hurts back for a few games.

As I left Jackson heading north this afternoon the clouds opened, and it poured down.  I could barely see the truck in front of me (photo), then a rainbow formed.  Cool.  The tail of the rainbow sat atop a car in the left lane.  Can you tell that through the rain?

We've had 1.1" of rain in the past 2 weeks, so indeed it seems the drought is over.  But our dogwood trees look like Tua's ankle.

Oh yeah, it's in Arkansas.  We are under a tornado watch right now.  My alert just popped up.  Looks like the bigtime-stormy crap will hit about 9-10am.  By then I'll be finished in the gym and having coffee in town.

The Dallas area got hit by a super cell tornado last night. They said the path of destruction is about 10 miles long. Serious stuff.

Just saw that on the CBS news.  No reported deaths, thank God.

But the news just reported a death in Arkansas over night.

We have those nasty, gusty winds here now, and humidity like Pensacola gets every night.  Bad juju.
