I think 2, Chech and I need to start hanging out with this young man.  He caught a really nice 7 pound bass and the excitement he shows is awesome.

He just held it close to the camera.

Good morning! Monday's out of the way, so it's downhill from here, right?

Watched the Skins match til about 9:30 but couldn't hang. They were playing in Japan, so it wouldn't have ended until 11-12 O'clock, so I pulled a Chech and recorded the rest.

Looks like we got about 1/4 inch of rain overnight. Thank Heavens the system lost a lot of it's punch by the time it got here. There's a little more on the way, but nothing to take notice of.

4 days to go for the CRS get-together, and maybe the most anticipated game of the year so far. Mac will be at the helm, and all eyes will be on him.

Glad to hear the storms didn't affect you much, 2.  We had lots of wind and over an inch of rain, but no damage as far as I know.  Memphis had a small tornado and much wind damage, and there were tornadoes reported elsewhere in Mississippi both north and south of us.  Nothing here like Dallas had.  Wow.

I'll watch the skins game today.  Hope it's a goodie.

Yes, this weekend should be fun.  And leave it to Saban to find a way to keep our interest by starting Mac Jones against Arkansas.

Ray Ogden passed away late last week.  Ogden was a member of the 1964 national championship team and played parts of 7 seasons in the NFL.

I was going to ask the same thing. I think there was some talk about eating lunch somewhere before tailgating, but I'm good with eating lunch AT the tailgating, if that's what y'all would like to do. I figure Mrs 2 and I will be there somewhere around Noon. Either way is good with me.

So, it's time to make a plan for Saturday.  I suggest we check the weather before deciding.  I haven't looked.

Beautiful day here yesterday.  And clear last night.  I set up my spotting scope and looked at the rings around Saturn and the 4 moons visible around Jupiter.  Cool.
