Good morning folks. Messy morning driving in but I just hate driving in the rain and darkness.

Based on the strength of schedule, results, and eye test - LSU should be ranked ahead of Alabama.  That doesn't mean they will win Nov 8, but right now, the Taahgurs (Coach O speak) deserve it.

For that matter, Oklahoma and Ohio State (heck, maybe even Wisconsin) deserve to be ahead of Alabama at this point.

I have to agree with you. The eye test is of better caliber wins. If last SAT. we had played GA. LSU, Fla. or Auburn we would have got beat. Our defense which use to be our life blood is now draining our blood. We are young but as soon as they learn the defense and get good off to the NFL they go. we are right back where we started. RTR!

I disagree respectfully Preacher.  The SEC elite teams are quickly progressing toward the Big12 with lots of offense and little defense.  I believe Bama can match any SEC team score for score right now.

Hey brother NALT do you think our defense can hold up for 4 QTRS. against these teams? RTR!

I think our defense would hold up as long as those team's defenses would.

Look, if we go undefeated this year Saban should be KING COACH.  It will be tough; tougher than usual due to injuries.

But as we've seen, UGA and Clemson have weaknesses too.  LSU is the major hurdle.

But I'm just going to try to enjoy every game.  We'll have another great season even if we don't win the natty.  If we do win it, WOOT!  Meanwhile, enjoy the ride.  Bama's never had a streak of seasons like this - EVER!

I'm enjoying the ride so far, and I agree: One game at a time. Saturday, it's UT. We need to focus on playing well on D, and NO injuries. The O should TCB with no problem. Maybe this is the week DeLong quits being a head case and starts booming the ball. Hopefully, we don't have to find out.

Would be nice to have Reichard back healthy though.

Good morning.

Yes, it's Tennessee Week.  Just want a win against them -- AGAIN.

News: Elijah Cummings died.  Man we're all getting old.  He was just 68.   Pray

Packing up for a knife show in Jackson this weekend.  Somebody will have to carry the Bama flag for the forum.  I'll be on the computer for the game, but prolly not for the pregame celebrations.

I've broken out my night owl clothes for the occasion, Diet Coke at the ready with maybe a little bourbon.

Good, my friend.  Bourbon seems appropriate for the Vol game.

Since I gave up smoking a long time ago, the bourbon will repacle the cigar.  Cool
