Well no mowing today or next few days. Heat has dried most of grass up so winter first frost may get most of it. I am just enjoying the wonderful weather. RTR!

My grass is rapidly being redefined as "dirt".

Good Friday morning!

56 degrees here. Very nice. Gonna be warming back up this weekend though.

Y'all have a great day!

Good Friday again? Easter sure comes around faster these days.

Lots of good Saturdays too, OT.

Another nice cool morning at 57 degrees, but going up to a high of 87. Not too bad.

Got errands to run this morning to get ready for my fall golf trip that starts tomorrow. Got to get them done before Bama kicks off at noon though.

Congrats to the Braves for clinching the NL East last night. May they go a long way in the post season this year.

USCw beat Utah last night 30-23. I saw Bamaphile's post. Hopefully, everybody remained honest and the results so far are correct.

Good morning, all.

Thanks for the Braves updates, 2.  Finally they're on top again.

Looks like I was the only one who picked Utah.     Or maybe I was the only one too stupid to take advantage of the error.

Roll Tide.  Our freshmen play USM at 11am.  Woot!

I watched the Braves celebrate for a while. It was great to see. They've got some special players on that team.

Anybody else remember when we played Mississippi Southern instead of Southern Mississippi?

My parents were from Hattiesburg. They and all my relatives there always called it Mississippi Southern. My father went to college there, and my grandfather donated some of the property that "Mississippi Southern" is on.

Yeah, it was called that when my best high-school friend went there.  His mother knitted us each a scarf for college; his was black and gold; mine was crimson and white.  I still have it.

Impressive, 2. One wonders why they made such a subtle name change when you have to redo signs and all the paperwork referring to their school. API was a different matter, because they wanted to pretend they aren't a cow college.
