Good morning all. It is still summer here although it looked like coolness for a while. I too have to ask the question about respecting other peoples logo and then I have the answer. There is no respect taught at home so by the time college comes around they greater than thou attitude is being let go everywhere. There should in my suggestions be some stiff FINES for the schools who have students doing this. JMHO> RTR!

Life is good.  Heading to Tuscaloosa for tailgating with Jamos this weekend.  I know 2 will be there.  Anybody else going?

The arrow incident?  I talked with the little tike and his Dad.  His Dad immediately said: 'Couldn't have been J; never shoots arrows in that direction'.  The kid spoke up saying: 'It's mine, but I don't know how it happened.'  I gave up.  If the Dad denies it and covers for the kid, nothing good will result.

Auction tonight, and I think we're going.  Something to do -- no football on Tuesday.  You?

Seems 2 is still in the mountains and without wifi.  He hasn't posted in 3 days, and the walls here echo without him.  Maybe today he shows up.

It'll be good to get back to Tuscaloosa this weekend.  Looking forward to visiting with Red Elephant, Jamos, and the gang.  Be good to see the campus again too.  It's been a year since I was there.

Got a flu shot yesterday while visiting with my doctor.  Hopefully they picked the right vaccine this year.  You getting one?

Talked with 2 this morning.  He's STILL in the mountains enjoying a few days of R&R, playing golf "poorly" (he said).  But he's well and relaxing.

Sorry for not being on the last few days. As Chech said, no internet. I have been playing some golf, but not all in the mountains. Our Myrtle Beach bunch has a fall outing every year at Richard B Russell state park near Elberton, Ga. The golf course is called Arrowhead Pointe. I did not play very well, but won some closest-to-the-pin money. and I beat my opponent today in match play, so it wasn't a total disaster.

Very much looking forward to seeing Chech, Red Elephant and Jamos in T-Town this weekend. NALT, sorry you and yours aren't able to make it down. Maybe we can all make another game down the road.

I hope we have back-to-back 59-0 blowouts. WOOOT!!!!!!!

Good morning, all. 

Coffee tastes good this morning.  Even though the cool air hasn't reached here yet (it will tonight), it feels like fall.  But we need rain; very dry for weeks now.

Glad to finally see a post from 2, and hear he actually won $$ on the golf course.  That should pay for his gas for the drive to Tuscaloosa.  Hope some others of you can join us Saturday afternoon.  Red Elephant will join us, and (hopefully) Mrs RE will too.
 

I spent the day in lovely Memphis yesterday.  Just glad to escape safely.

I also talked with a friend of mine from Houston, TX.  He and I graduated from Alabama and spent time together during grad school.  His house wasn't flooded, thank goodness, but he said overall it's a mess in Houston.

59-0 again?  Doubtful, but our chances improved yesterday when we learned that Ole Miss will play their 3rd center for the game - injuries to the first 2 this year.
