I realized I never posted a pic of the "cabin" where I stay out west.  It's mostly hidden behind evergreens, so I don't have a good photo of it.  Here are 2 that show part of it:


My pacle is on the right, next to an old outdoor bathroom shared by folks who stay in rustic cabins (built in 1930).  I have my own bathroom.  This view shows my porch and side door.


This view shows "The Sheriff", a resident bison who patrols the yards.  You can see part of my pacle between trees behind him.  What you can't see is the super view I have from my 2nd-floor bedroom of that series of mountains to the SE.  The snow stays on them until late August.

Can you tell I'm ready to return??  Cry

Nice pacle, Chech. Looks like you can step out your back door and observe wildlife.

Lol, I've never been to the Big island Preacher.  I flew to Oahu last year on the way to Kauai but I never left the airport so I didn't even get to visit Pearl Harbor.  Always go to Kauai which is called the "garden isle" and is also where several movies were filmed.  Also, it is the island that Elvis would stay on when he would go to Hawaii.

This is a pic of the Coco Palms Hotel where he would stay back then.



And this is a recent pic of the same place.
