I thought it was amazing that you headed on that long trip after the procedure at the doctor's. I probably would have flopped on the couch for a couple of days. But at least you're with the family in your comfortable place. Take care, 2.

Good Saturday morning! Yesterday was my last day of antibiotics and I'm really glad. They played he!! with my stomach and sleep as you can probably tell by what time I'm posting this.

Yep, Preacher, 42 days til kickoff. I've been watching SEC Media Days this week and I'm getting stoked. All the talking heads have Bama and Ga in the lead for the hardware again this year. Kirby just got a big fat raise and is now the leading money-winner in college football head coachingdom. Time for CNS to get one now.

My mobility is getting better every day, so I'm going to try and tackle the world a little bit this morning. Gonna run some errands (with Mrs 2 driving of course), then off to watch my grandson's football practice. Wish me luck.

My trip out west is on hold. I have a cabin rented August 15- September 15, but the NE ROAD is still closed. Unless it opens I won’t go. It’d take 3 hours to enter the park from there without the NE road open, and I wouldn’t have access to the wolf den or grizzlies anyhow without the road. So I wait and hope. Yesterday came word that the road repairs are finally starting. Not likely to make fast progress.

Well, I hope everybody had a good Hump Day. I went and had my back stimulator activated yesterday, then Mrs 2 drove us to P'cola. Today will be the test day to see how well it works so far. I'm hopeful it will do the trick. The ride home yesterday was a little rough, but I'm feeling pretty good this morning.

NALT, did you filet the sharks?  

Haha, no.  All of them were very small and we released them.  My FIL used to keep very small bluegill and when questioned about it he would say, "they're bigger than a butterbean."  These were too but not by much...

We made it home last night around 11:30.  Glad to be home but will miss the daughter...
