Living the dream up there, Chech. We tried fishing yesterday but the beaches were covered in seaweed. And the Gulf was still full of it. We decided to pull up stakes and move to the pass. It was the same way. We were done fishing at 7:30 AM.

Today, before the heavy snow started.  This is a grizzly I'd never seen before.  She has a scar across her nose; called the Junction Butte Sow.

Can you believe I'm still waiting on my truck to be finished up? Long story, but hopefully it will be done today.

Howdy folks.  Nice long weekend over the holiday.  Even got to do some fishing from a friend's lake house.  I caught a nice blue catfish, James Edward caught a nice bass and Runt caught a small bluegill which he then used for bait for a big catfish that never bit...

I leave tomorrow for work.  Heading back out to Kauai, HI. Aloha!

Yes, PRONGHORNS are pretty.  And most school kids know they're pretty fast (can run 60 mph).  But few of us experience them up close, as I did last August, when my Toyota clipped one in Wyoming.  $1500 later my car looks pretty good.  The pronghorn wasn't reparable!

My business partner just got back from there. He went deep sea fishing Saturday and caught this 120 lb yellowfin tuna.

A bison gored a 25-year-old woman in Yellowstone National Park.

The bison was walking near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, just north of Old Faithful, when the woman approached it on Monday, according to a park statement. She got within 10 feet (3 meters) before the animal gored her and tossed her 10 feet into the air.

The woman from Grove City, Ohio, sustained a puncture wound and other injuries.

Park emergency medical providers responded and transported her via ambulance to a hospital in Idaho.

Park officials say it’s the first reported bison goring this year. The park statement said bison are unpredictable, have injured more people in Yellowstone than any other animal and can run three times faster than humans.

Park regulations require visitors to remain more than 25 yards (23 meters) away from bison. The park statement said two other people were also within 25 yards of the same bison.
