Good morning folks.  Rained all night here last night.  We went to Runt's show but he was just a small part of it.  He sang 3 songs is all.  We also went to a "trombone" Christmas concert.  The youngest boy wasn't feeling well so we went to an urgent care pacle after that.  He has some weird infection in his throat but it wasn't strep.  He is on antibiotics for the next 10 days.  He threw up during the night so I'm going to leave him home with Mrs. Nalt when Runt and I go to church this morning.

Sorry to hear about the little guy, NALT. Hope he's back to normal soon. Pray for us heathens while you're at church. 

Thanks.  He tends to get strep 2 or 3 times each year but the doc said this ISN'T strep.  Probably would have become strep if we had waited another day I figure.    Always do pray for you heathens too 2.

It has rained ALL DAY LONG today.  Supposed to rain all night too.  Youngest is still puny but better than he was last night.  He and I stayed home while Mrs. Nalt and Runt went to a Christmas concert tonight.

No rain here, but warming temperatures today.  Should be up into the 60s by tomorrow.  Forecast is for no rain at all this week, but it's just 100 miles south of here.

Good NFL games yesterday: Eagles beat the Cowboys, Falcons won, and Saints won.  Pretty much a sweep!

Bama had its last practice in Tuscaloosa yesterday.  More about that elsewhere on the appropriate thread so you crazed merger-types won't throw a fit if its posted here.

Definitely warmer temps here.  Thankful for that too.  Now, if only the rain would stop...  Actually it is supposed to stop raining today.  We will be going to get the youngest daughter from Boaz tomorrow morning then heading over to Athens to my 2nd oldest brother's house to see family.  

Friday evening I noticed a spot on one of Mrs. Nalt's tires that has broken steel showing.   Can't be driving on that!  I put her doughnut spare on yesterday and she is going back where we bought them 19K miles ago to see if they might still have some warranty left.

Yep, don't want her riding on 'maypops'. Looks like you're getting all the rain that we were getting. It finally stopped raining about 1:00 yesterday afternoon. Everything around here is water-logged.
