I hope everybody made it through the night. Tornadoes everywhere. We had thunder and lightning a couple of hours ago, but it's just raining now. Tornadoes reported in La, Ms and Al. The worst was in La. Lot's of damage in all 3 states though.

Now the cold........

Not such a good morning.

Tornadoes all over.

Town Creek, AL (near Decatur) Police Chief Jerry Garrett confirmed two fatalities in the storm. Garrett said he is not sure of the conditions of the injured. A door-to-door search will soon be under way.

The fatalities, identified by officials as husband and wife, were on the northside of County Road 265. Their identifies have not been released.

Four others on the road were critically injured, including a 7-year-old child who is being transported to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham.

My neighbor lost a tree (broke rather than uprooted).  The house made some noises I'd rather not hear again.  I believe that was the strongest wind I can remember anywhere I've been.

Mrs Dottie and I went through Hurricane Andrew in 1992 at New Iberia, LA. where I was working and that was the worse nightmare of all. RTR!

Glad everyone on CRS is okay. 

My buddy I see at the gym said the police took video of a tornado south of Oxford (near his house).  He is okay, but others lost roofs and many trees.

Prayers for those who lost lives or were injured otherwise.

Good Thursday morning.

Looks like another successful signing day for Bama. Still a few yet to come, but a good class so far. We did get a player X in RB Jase McClellan, who flipped from Oklahoma. Our new 5 star QB Bryce Young is on board, so life is good. Now the coaching staff can put their full effort into getting the team ready to curb stomp Meeeechigan.

I've got a full day of work today, then off to P'cola tomorrow. Looking forward to Christmas and some R&R.
