Yep, LSU was certainly the better team last night. As much as we'd like to, we can't win them all. At least we lost to probably the best team in the country. Poor ole SC lost to App St at home. Muschamp's seat has got to be getting a little warm. And Arky got pummeled by W. Ky. I'm surprised Morris wasn't fired at halftime.

Saban is to be commended for keeping us undefeated this long.  We've survived on Tua's arm and speedy talent.  Just too many critical injuries this year.

Indeed, better than Arky, USCe, or those other fallen stars (FSU, Boogerville, USCw...).

At least Penn St. got beat yesterday. That gave me the happy.

Iowa State went for 2 and the win against Oklahoma, and the pass was almost caught (WR had hands on it), but they lost.  C-L-O-S-E.

I saw the score but didn't realize that. Prolly doesn't feel like much of a win to Oklahoma.

Prolly not.
You realize that if we'd gotten that on-sides kick and stolen the game, prolly the SEC would have 2 playoff teams again (and piss off everybody AGAIN).

Off to Tupelo again.
Snow coming here; prolly just flurries and mixed stuff (tomorrow night).

Ugh! Don't remind me. Got to travel back tomorrow to the frozen tundra (at least compared to here).

Safe travels.

Good morning folks and safe travels Chech and 2.  Yep, Bama got beat last night.  Tough to swallow but all that can be said is that LSU was the better team last night.  With Penn State losing I think that leaves the door ajar for Bama to slip back into the CFP.  Of course, we still need a lot of help but the PS loss is one of the obstacles out of the way...

Good morning and ROLL TIDE!  Coffee

Well it's a new world.  We're among the less-than-elite teams now.  Somehow we're still ranked #4.

Hope your golfballing went well, 2.  I'm licking my wounds from a long weekend of driving back-and-forth to Tupelo and standing long hours at the show.  Did well, though.

WINTER is here again.  A big rain event arrives at noon today, followed by a chance of snow late tonight.  That'd be weird!

I was surprised to see we only dropped to #4. The poll tomorrow night is the one that counts though. We'll see.

I did well with the golfball yesterday. i took everybody's money. It made my day. Now, it's off to SC.

Good morning folks.  I think we are going the Veterans' Day parade today.  After that I'm coming home to work on some wood projects that I want to do for Christmas presents while Runt gets his next Remicade infusion.

I was surprised that Bama didn't drop in the polls any further.  I was actually expecting to drop to around #8.  I was surprised to see some guy on Twitter yesterday calling for Saban to be fired.  He said that anyone should be able to see that the problem with Alabama is Saban and that he needs to be fired. Can't help but wonder if that twitter poster might be a member of CRS...  Lips Sealed

Good morning, all.  I'm at work today for a few hours to get some things accomplished in the peace and quiet.  Oh, and bank some holiday hours for Christmastime.

While what you're all saying about LSU being the better team Saturday is true, a large part of that is unfortunately Alabama being bad at times as much as LSU just being that much better.  They didn't exactly come in and dominate.  Without the inexplicable fumble inside the 10 and the poor coaching/QB decision before half, we win the game.  Not to mention the DA penalty on 69.  LSU played relatively mistake-free, and kudos to them for that.

Indeed, a big salute to Preacher and all the veterans. Our country would not be what it is without y'all.

Back safely to SC. Traffic was surprisingly light today. Good to be back. Unfortunately, I'll be back in the office tomorrow.  Sad

Our family went to the Veteran's day parade in Huntsville today.  We were setting up just next to the WAFF48 stage.  At one point there were four people, 3 men and a woman that walked onto the parade route and lay down in the street.  HPD were immediately there pulling them all off the road so the parade could continue.   I thought they were Antifa protesters.  However, I found out just a few minutes ago that they were actually protesting a police shooting of a black guy in Madison a couple of weeks ago.  The police are saying that he had pointed a gun at them so they opened fire...
