That's great.  If he is heading through Atlanta around noon time then is he still planning to make it a two day trip?

Huntsville is now the 2nd largest city in Alabama and projected to pass Birmingham in 2021.  It's not a bad place...it definitely still has a "town" type feel to it.

It is a nice area to live.  However, as the population grows it is starting to develop the "big city" feel more and more.  The infrastructure is lagging behind the growth by about 50 years +/-.  Mayor Tommy Battle has done a really good job, IMO, of bringing in business to help the city to continue to grow.  I personally feel he would have been a good governor for the state too.

Regarding Mayor Battle, I'm not sure if he is a Godly man or not.  He used to own/operate the Brittling Buffet restaurant in Huntsville.  It wasn't a bad pacle to eat most days...

I grew up in Huntsville and have seen it change dramatically over the past 50 years.  I remember when I was in college, and every time I came home from Tuscaloosa something new had been built.

Good morning and Roll Tide.  Coffee

COLD this morning; down in low 30s and still breezy.  Yikes.

We had a birthday celebration at a friend's house last night.  Actually it was a gingerbread-house build and they toasted my increasing age.  Fun and good food.  LF made me a chocolate pie.  Yum.

I'm off to the knife show about noon today.  Should be good weather for a show; too chilly for yard work and too early for most hunting seasons.  Either way it'll be nice to see the other dealers and friends.

Tomorrow the latest "GAME OF THE CENTURY".  Hope it lives up to the hype.

Thanks for the well wishes, guys. Keep it 'tween the ditches today, Chech.

Unfortunately, not going to the beach to fish this weekend. Golf on the Navy Base Sunday though, with a couple of my old golfing buddies. Today, it's TCB. I have to go to the tax office to renew Mrs 2's tag. For some reason, they never have the insurance info on her car and I have to go in person with the info, to renew her tag. Never had a problem with any of my other cars, so I don't understand. But then again, it is the gubment.

NALT, my 2 day weekend turned into a 3 day weekend when my Rock Hill trip got cancelled. I'll take it.

Tomorrow is indeed, the big day. We're gonna knock the gumbo out of those corndogs!!! Wait....what?  Huh?
