Wow we had to tear out the hall and 5 floor joists and the outside band of the house. Jack the wall up and we still have a lot to do Monday and Sunday I will heat water to bath cause we can't get the water heater in till the whole floor is rotting is repaired.
I tell you all this stuff to warn you to keep your eyes under your house and on your water areas in your house cause this damage was done of long time. Slow ruin to the floor. Wow my back is killing me cause I was in the floor helping tear out and remeasure for cuts. God I need prayer. Ya'll be safe. RTR!

Geez, Preacher, don't you have some folks at your church who could help with that labor??  You have no business working on that yourself.

Well honestly Chechem the only 2 men who are able are older than I am and they are trying but I have to guide them because it is a mess and scabs and joists and all have to be cut and then 3/4 Marine plywood put down so the washer, dryer, and water heater will sit there. They would help if they were able. The prayer you just showed I need those my brother more than anything. I may have to go to the VA emergency room in the morning. If I do I will miss church and I hate that but we shall see. RTR!

Good Saturday morning. Mrs 2 is still in P'cola, so I'm still batching it. Played golf yesterday, but had too many blow-up holes and shot 89. I'll give it another go later today and see if I can't do better.

I think I'll go out and get some breakfast this morning. Y'all have a good day!

Good morning folks.  It is about 20 after 10 p.m. in Alaska, 1:20 a.m. back in Sweet Home Alabama.  I am wide awake  and can't seem to fall asleep thanks to a million things running through my mind.  My job here in Alaska is done with the exception of shutting down the equipment that I am here supporting and then packaging it up and shipping it back home.  I'll shut it all down on Monday afternoon and take it to the shippers on Tuesday morning before I fly out for home on that afternoon.  I'm looking forward to getting back to the family.  I hope you are all doing good and have a great day...

NALT, you've had a long, Chech-like, vacation work trip to Alaska.  Have a safe trip back to those kids (and wife).  And grass.  Plus, Preacher may need your help at his pacle.  We're all sending prayers and advice to Ricky, but a little hands-on healing would be best.

It is not long till kickoff of practice and I pray first of all injuries don't pile up on us. RTR!

Thanks everybody.  This trip has been amazing.  I never dreamed that I would be able to visit Alaska like I have for the last 5 weeks.  And the bet part about it is that I got paid to come here.  Today looks to be absolutely beautiful up here too so that's good.  Hopefully I'll get to be outside enjoying the pacle a bit more.
