I haven't seen a fall practice schedule, but I believe it will be the end of next week.  Probably Friday 8/2.  That would coincide with last year's practice schedule.

Good morning/afternoon folks.  We have a beautiful morning here in Kodiak too.

Chech, I saw two bears early last week.  They were playing in the grass at the end of a bay that I had to go around heading to work.  I took some pics with my camera but they were so far away that I couldn't get good pics.  They were big juveniles.  Not small cubs though...

I just watched the NCG last year and Clemson just whipped us up one and down the other. We look like weren't prepared. I don't know. RTR!

Update on the flooded highway in Nebraska:

Recall that I drove through a flooded area of I-29 and Hwy 2 in Nebraska back in May and again during early July?  Well, it's still flooded, and Hwy 2 is still under water.

Maybe that curse I put on Lincoln, Nebraska last summer was too severe!

Good morning.  Coffee

The cool weather is slowly ending; today may be the last nice day.  It's 62 this morning, but the south wind will end our pleasant cooling period.  Rain expected by Monday.

The Braves didn't lose last night.  Well, they didn't play.     Phillies are next.

Admit it, you're really Chaac.  Hard to fathom that area is still flooded.

I'm playing hooky this morning to enjoy the nice weather on the golf course. Phone will prolly blow up, so I'll have to mute it. May not be worth it.

Throw your phone in the first water hazard.  You'll probably slice the throw, so aim left!

BTW, highway 2 is projected to open August 15th.  I'm supposed to pass by there August 14th.

No way!  Last time I trusted them, when they said they'd open July 1st, they changed it that morning to "July 4th" (after I'd already started that route).  It's still closed!!

I hope the Cornhuskers don't win a game this year!  Angry

Well it sure is cool this morning. My overalls feel good this morning. Well yesterday two men came over and found out why our floors were staying wet and rotting, our water heater was leaking our at the bottom and yes, I wish I had some insurance from 2. Well since no home insurance we will be paying out about some grand some of 750.00 to get all this repaired I am guesstimating. I know a new water heater is 359.00 plus tax. Wow, if I only had cable TV to watch, rofl. You all have a Blessed day and I hope NALT gets home safe.  RTR!

I doubt homeowners insurance covers water heaters.  Maybe floor damage, but not the heater.

You are probably right Chechem. They have some of the floor torn out and it was rotten no wonder I like to have fell through the other day. They are plugging up fans and let the floor dry real good over the weekend til monday. I guess we will have fresh air this weekend and Mrs Dottie won't be hot at night cause we are getting pure air through the big opening. lol, oh my, I just Praise the Lord these guys only 2, are willing to do this on credit. I offered a check but I told them it would be like a Basketball just not orange. You all have a Blessed day. It ain't long till kickoff and then fall. RTR!

Good morning folks.  This is my last weekend on Kodiak as I start for home on Tuesday.  Looking forward to getting home and seeing the family.  Going to miss being out here though.  This pacle is just so beautiful with so much wildlife and so many fish to catch...

Sorry about your water heater Preacher.  I hope they can get it repacled without it costing to much.

Enjoy the day off playing golfball 2.  Hope you can play really well... Chech, well, I hope you have a great day too...
