Good afternoon folks.  I am working the late shift today.  Came in at 12:00 p.m./3:00 p.m. Central time.  I got to go fishing on the way in to the office too.  I managed to finally catch some Dolly Varden (3) and a really ugly fish called an Irish Lord fish.  It was only about 6 to 8" long but boy, was it ugly... But it counts... Cool

NALT, you'd better go to one of those Indian Casinos tonight.  You've finally got luck!!

Yeah, but I could only see the Red Salmon jumping just off the beach where I couldn't reach them... Couldn't get them to hit... Cry

Didn't you do any fishing when you were in Pensacola for the 4th?

Good morning.

If this tropical depression keeps growing, it'll bring the pompano to our doorstep here in northern Mississippi.

Supposed to bring a lot of rain, for sure. Pensacola got a bunch yesterday.

After I posted I saw an update.  Most models now show the system moving ashore near Lake Charles, and then moving northward toward Shreveport (well west of us).  We might get only 0.1-0.2" of rain.

Best model.

Good afternoon folks.  I had to work late last night, got off at 11:30 then had to make the hour + drive home.  Up this morning and back in the office by 9:45.  On the drive in I was finally able to see a couple Kodiak brown bears.  They appeared to be juveniles but they were about 200-300 yards away so hard to say.

They were too far away for cell phone pics.  I did take some with my camera though so Ill have to upload them so I can see how good or bad they turned out...
