Story I read said after Kirby was hired there was not much contact from Ga. so he decommited and signed with Bama

Everybody is talking about Tua, and not as much being said about DeVonta Smith. Shoot, he's won 2 games for us. 

Good point, 2.  And maybe Tua should have gone into the Auburn game and rescued it.

Yeah, can only speculate what may have happened had he played, but the sting is completely gone from that game.

Chech, I feel bad for Pappy too. I knew his history, and being from Montgomery myself, I appreciated his story. But c'mon, funny is funny.

I know, I'm ashamed. Work and a VERY active 20-month-old has captured most of my time. I'll try to be good from now on. But hey, good to have No. 17!!!

Hey Ricky, good to see you, too. Sorry to hear about the visit from Uncle Arthur. I think he is starting to make some random visits to my elbow and knee, too.

Sorry, can't help it. 

Is he going to do that while he's kicking for the scouts on pro day?   

If he does, the scouts best not line up to the left. 

Poor Pappy.  Guy grew up in Montgomery an Alabama fan, then went to Ole Miss to play.  Found his dream at Alabama.  Sure, he missed the BIGGEST KICK OF HIS LIFE, but his mistake was just a mistake.  Mistakes by Tony Brown, Mikhi Brown, Jalen, or even Tua's PI could have cost us that game.  But Pappy will forever be blamed for choking.  Fun to laugh, but I hurt for this guy.
 

I'm not nearly as down on him as most folks, Chech.  Before this game, he'd been fairly reliable for most of the year.  I believe he was 16 of 21 with only one miss inside 40 yards coming into the game.  That's pretty good on paper for a college kicker.

With that said, he didn't really seem to have the stomach for the big kicks.  Neither would I, mind you.  I couldn't imagine.

What's up Doc?  I'm doing pretty well.  Just trying to get over having shoulder surgery back in early Dec.   Getting there but it is slow. 

My brother went through one not too long ago.  The recovery was pretty rough.  The results are worth it in the long term though.
