Downed trees? Did you have severe weather yesterday, Chech?

Naw, just downed timber from falling dead trees and such.  I have 2 big pines that died this year, one down and one needs to come down.  And there's a big dogwood that died and fell across the trail.  I'll cut them all up and stack the limbs for rabbits and birds to use.  The woods have lots of those piles of limbs.  It's an annual chore to keep the trails clear.

Gotcha. That line of T-storms passed through here with the speed of a bullet train. Rained all of about 3 minutes.

Good morning, everybody.  Coffee tastes good this morning.  Coffee

Lots of yard work yesterday, then spent last night (until 10:30) Christmas shopping.  I may need a nap today.

I did some of that.  But the one big gift I wanted to buy couldn't be delivered until "Dec 29 to Jan 3".

My favorite trick is to search Amazon for gifts, then go to Ebay to compare prices.

I had to do that with one item.  I was able to have it shipped from Best Buy instead.

Now if I could only get UPS to deliver everything at midnight on Christmas eve I would be all set.

A few weeks ago Walmart promised to match any online price. A bunch of folks created their own pages on ebay and entered items listed for rock-bottom prices.  Walmart caught on to the scam and closed the offer.  Just shows how created Walmart shoppers are.
