Good (cold) morning.  

It's 27 degrees and dropping here.  And I've got to work outside this morning.  Brrr.

Got an email from my son in California.  The Berkeley schools are all closed today.  They expect 3-5" of rain and 35-50 mph winds.  One heck of a storm!  Wow.

I saw that on the radar last night. Quite a deluge for that area. I hope there will be no mud slides.

There WILL BE mud slides.  That's a given.  But nothing like that will affect him.  He's not in the hills.

BTW, this storm will move eastward and be here on Monday (heavy rain, thunderstorms).  It'll affect you too, 2, on Tuesday.

 

Only calling for a 50% chance of rain here Tuesday, but that could change. It's 38 right now heading to the 60's this afternoon. Should be a nice day.

Morning, all.  Today is the last work day before Christmas break, though I'll probably need to go in Monday for a couple of hours.  Lots of shopping to do yet; haven't started!

Gun show this weekend in Tupelo, so I'll pack off to that later today.  For once, I won't miss any football while there.   

Watching "SEC Now" early this morning.  Good summary of the coaches' press conference from yesterday, overplayed with the season's top highlights.  Good stuff.

Yep, no football, but lots of awards. Glad Coop walked away with the Biletnikoff. He's a long shot for the Heisman, but would love to see him get that one, too.

I'll be playing golf tomorrow in Daphne (Rock Creek) with my regular golf partner, against the death wish brothers. I guess they think they can beat us on their home territory. They are 0-fer against us in 3 matches. We'll see.

Yeah, that's a cool hole. I like the golf course. It has always been in great shape every time I have played it. The last time I played it, a thunderstorm came out of nowhere and we darn near got struck by lightning.

It was white here this morning but it has come up a few degrees now. Sunshine is beautiful. Got some stuff to do today. Dottie and I are going shopping and look in a window if she feels like it. Hope everybody has a safe and wealthy day. RTR!
