Good morning.  Coffee

Hopefully 2 had success in golf yesterday.
This forum has definitely slowed since the SECCG, despite mucho news about coaching changes and recruiting.

I'm back on the road to the Gun Show again today.  Hope you guys have fun.

We actually tied yesterday, Chech. They brought their A game. My golf partner brought his C game. I brought my A game in everything but putting. I made one meaningful putt all day. It was still a lot of fun, though. It gave hope to the other guys and we're doing it again today.

Good luck at the show!

They say in golf that you drive for show but you putt for dough. Laughing
A tie in golf is a win for me, sounded like it was a fun day.

I missed one fairway all day and the one I missed didn't hurt me. I might as well have been putting with a garden rake, because my putter was terrible. I did make about a 15 footer for birdie on #17 that tied us up.

But today is another day. I'm sure my golf partner will at least bring his B game, and I certainly have nowhere to go but up, in the putting dept.

Well we missed Church today and it really broke our hearts. Dottie was hurting and had very little sleep and the cold tore my back up this morning. This afternoon is another story. I hope you all have a Blessed Day and all things go your way. RTR!

Yep, big ole redshirt.  He reports in August.

I know what you mean.  I'm worn out from the weekend.  Thought I could relax today and watch the rain (lots coming this morning), but LF wants to go to a function on campus at Ole Miss.  So we're heading out into the nasty rain. Yuck

Well, have fun anyway.

I just wanted to lick my wounds from golf yesterday. To make a long story short, we were up 5 holes with 6 to play. They won 5 in a row. Still had a chance to win 18. I lipped out the birdie putt and I lipped out the par putt coming back. We ended up tied for the second day in a row.

Dang, 2.  Better kiss your sister (no tongues).

Sounds like your 4th-quarter play isn't up to standard.  Conditioning issues?

No kidding! This was as big a miracle as the boogs beating us last year. One of the guys we played against is a barner, so that explains everything. He made every single putt in their 5 hole streak. On the last hole, he hit his shot OB left. His partner hit OB right, but hit a house and came back into play. He went on to make bogie and we tied. I've never seen such luck in my life. The golf gods beat us with that plow rein.

It is a good feeling around the house today. Dottie had slight pain but here we are in our Roll Tide Family and just posting away. Beautiful here today. I saw where our commit said it is done no more calls taken so maybe this is for real. Sorry for my skepticism but all the flips and flops sometimes make me wonder. RTR!

I hope Miss Dottie is improving.

Got a thin line of T-storms heading this way. Was hoping we'd get a little more rain out of this. After the summer deluge, we've had very little rain since September.

The first bowl game is 4 days away. Should help the football withdrawals, however, if I watch them all, I will need rehab.

Good morning, everybody.

We had rain ALL DAY yesterday, 2.  If you need some, hopefully you'll get it.

I've got to do some chainsawing today, just to clean up some downed trees in our woods.  Hope you all have a good day.

Downed trees? Did you have severe weather yesterday, Chech?
