Horrible.  I came close to stepping on one when living in Mobile.

Sad situation there. Those things can certainly be deadly.

Lol, I like that one better.  I mean, what would someone do if they are color blind?  "Gray on gray will kill a fellow but gray on Gray and it's venom lacks" just doesn't seem like it would work all that well...

Good morning. Coffee
Glad you had safe travels, 2.
We had a severe thunderstorm yesterday after a day in the 90s. Lots of wind and rain. This area needs some rain, so no big problem.
I bought some goodies yesterday from a knife guy. Got a Finnish sheath knife, and a Case knife. Both cool. I’ll post pics when we get home Thursday.
Enjoy your day.

Uh oh, Jim Cantore is in PC Beach.  Shocked The entire southeast should get plenty of rain over the next several days due to the tropical system in the GOM. Got my daughters in P'cola on a weather watch.

Can't wait to see your pics, Chech. The knives sound pretty cool.

Good morning folks.  Very nice weather here right now but clouds are building so the rain can't be too far behind.  I spent the evening yesterday replacing one of our water heaters.  Had to drain our old leaky 40 gallon tank then install the new one.  The biggest problem I had was getting my 13 y/o to help me haul the old one out.  I got smart though and got his sister to help haul the new one in and put it in place.  At least I have one daughter that was man enough to help...    Mrs. Nalt had to call the AC repairman yesterday too.  Since she turned the AC on last week it hasn't been cooling the end of the house where we sleep.  The guy had it working within 2 hours.  Today she is going to Lowe's to order a new oven.  Our old one will heat up and cook for about 15 minutes then fails.  Hopefully they will be able to get it in quickly and I can pick up the new oven and get it installed in the next couple of days...

Glad you made it safely  up there 2.  Hopefully the family in Pensacola will be safe from the storms.  If need be tell them to head up my way and we'll put them up to keep them safe from the storms... Looking forward to seeing your purchases Chech.

It hurts me just thinking about writing all those checks at once, NALT!

Looks like we have one more day with no rain.

Lol, tell me about it.  I'm not sure what the HVAC guy charged.  The water heater cost $600.  The new oven will probably cost around $1700.  I supposed the bright side is that the labor for installing the latter two appliances will come to a big fat $0...  Cool

Oh, and for the record, I do accept donations to support the recent effort to replace old, broken appliances... or maybe someone could start a gofundme account...

Sounds like you have my luck, NALT. FWIW, major water leaks are expensive too, especially in 2 different homes. You're smarter than I am. Never thought about a GoFundMe account.

Thanks for offering to house my daughters and grandson, but I wouldn't do that to an enemy, much less a friend.  Stars

Lol, well, I could also let them put up a tent in the back yard underneath the trees if they want...   Wink
