Good morning folks.  I took the day off from work today to go with the youngest and his class on their field trip to Montgomery.  Per the arrangements this is going to be a loooooooooooooooooooooooong day.  Charter bus (for the students and teachers) leaves school just after 5:00 a.m. and is scheduled to get back to school this evening around 8:00 p.m.  I hope Chech and LF got to their destination.  Everyone else have a safe and great day...

Have a great day, NALT.  I lived in Montgomery during my elementary school days.  A lovely city. Everybody loved the Elite cafe but I think it has closed.

Good morning from somewhere in eastern Tennessee.

We finally left at noon, and sat in Knoxville traffic for an hour. Got north of Knoxville and stopped for a motel. All full. Ironically there is a college bass tournament this weekend. We went on and found a motel farther north.

Jamos would appreciate the bass kids. I asked one what they’d try casting first thing in morning, and kid said buzzbaits. Sounds like fun. But we must drive on today.

Hope NALT has a good day with his gang. No word from 2 lately. Hello to everybody.

We had a great time today. Mrs. Nalt and I drove down instead of riding the bus. We all had a great time and got to visit a few different places and I would love to go back when we aren't on a time schedule. Hope you made it safely Chech.

Man, you guys did a bang-up job in my absence. 

Made it here to Pensacola from Myrtle Beach about 5:00 this afternoon. Had a great time, but out of 6 rounds of golf, only 2 were worth anything. Oh well, there will be better days.

Preacher, keep us posted on your situation. We've been telling you what the doctor said all along.

Good morning.

Wish I could post pics to show how beautiful it is here in the Virginia mountains. We got here safely yesterday, and settled into a cabin known as Baby’s Cabin (Dirty Dancing movie). Lots to see here.  Favorite so far was 2 male Baltimore Orioles on the ground right near us for good viewing. Wow.

Thanks for the updates NALT and 2. Glad your trips were safely completed. We’re off to watch my nephew graduate from Virginia Tech today. He is then off to grad school at UVA. They grow up fast!!
