Hey thanks for the update on the A's teams. I was really confused but you know they say the mind is the first thing to go. rofl. Hey correct me if I am wrong but didn't Billy Martin manage the A's back during the championship runs then went to the Yankees? RTR!

The manager of the A's when they won in 1972 & 1973 was Dick Williams, who had managed the Boston Red Sox to the World Series in 1967. In 1974 the A's won the World Series with Alvin Dark as manager.
Billy Martin managed the A's in 1980-1982 after being fired from the Yankees. Martin was a total jerk and alcoholic.
