Braves wasted a lot of hits so far.

Leaving that many runners on base is like the Braves of old, maybe they can squeeze this one out. Having said all of this, the Braves just took a 3-2 lead on a Justin Upton homer.

Heyward played and went 2-4 with a double & RBI. B. J. Upton went 4-5 and seems to FINALLY start hitting. He's hitting around .200 with 20 RBI & makes $13,500,000 a year.

His early-season slump is history.  He has now hit safely in five games since returning from the disabled list, going 10 for 21 overall with two doubles and three stolen bases.  He had 4 hits last night.

Maybe he's not worth the money (who is?), but he was the key to last-night's win.  Glad he's a Brave.  Hope he keeps hitting.

You guys should have a lot of fun the rest of the way.  The Braves have a series against St. Louis and a series against Cleveland, and no other games against teams with winning records, including the entire month of September.
