What a job he has done with this team. I don't know about being President but his name should be right at the top for Coach of the Year.

Hey CAG couldn't do a bit worse than what we got. I have ask a great number of people and nobody voted for him. How did he get elected by Afghans or Iranians? RTR!

I think CAG deserves to be considered for coach of the year but Coach Cal has Kentucky 14-0 in the league and No. 1 in the country. He would get my vote at this point.

Shocked  I couldn't vote for him even if UK won the NBA Championship.  Banging your head against the wall.

My opinion of Coach of the Year isn't a coach that has fifteen five star players that you and I could coach to victory. I think it should be a coach that has has taken an average team and coached them into a contender for a championship.

Grant has had to do far more to get Bama to where they are this year than what Calipari has had to do with Kentucky to get them where they are.

Is this in the category of anti-Bama rhetoric, mean-spirited comment, stirring the pot, or just HTH?

Coach Cal has got his team to preform as well (maybe better) as expected. When was the last time a team went unbeated in in SEC play. I think CAG has done a good job of getting our season back on track. Some people would argue we have under acheived this year. We were a preseason top 25 team and a lock for the NCAA.

Top talent still has to be coached. I don't like Calipari nor do I agree with his one and done approach to recruits but he can coach.

I have no problem with him not being COY, if there is another coach that has beaten the odds and taken his team to an unexpected level of play , and I'm sure there is one. I don't consider coaches that win a popularity contest with the media though. One coach that I would consider was the coach at Houston, they won a lot of games, scored a lot of points, and they're never really ranked that high in the polls. I think he did a great job.

FIFY.  If they finally win the NC, then I'll give him credit (but not COY).
