Bama doesn't leave TR in the game to pad the stats like the powerhouse BSU playing another powerhouse CSU.  Kellen Moore is still in the game in the middle of the 3rd quarter with the score 56-13.  He threw the TD pass to make it 56.

That's certainly true, HSC.

I want to ask you guys about something else.  The NFL is changing.  No longer do RBs get the bulk of the work; now it's the passing game.  Even the draft is reflecting that now; RBs aren't top priority.

So I wonder how long before the Heisman takes the premium label off RBs.  It's always been QBs and RBs as top candidates for the Heisman.  Will it just be QBs in the near future as the game changes?
I hate to see that. I just got off the phone with a NOLA guy. All he wanted to talk about, football wise, was whether or not Ingram could be an "everydown" back. I said he had not had his legs knocked off him in college. They'll have to change the pose on the trophy if they want to make it a QB club. JMHO-SIAP

Ingram and Bush were only 2 RBs out of the last ten Heisman winners, the rest were all QBs.

Tebow was a running back playing qb if that counts.

I hate to see such talent as Ingram and Richardson go to the NFL as other than every-down backs.  But that's the reality.  Their talents are wasted on the new NFL rules that favor passing.

They are trying to make the NFL game more exciting for women and Lane Kiffen.

I never underestimate the mindset of the sports media to "dis" our Crimson Tide...most of them are in the east, and have an innate prejudice against southern teams (except for the gayturds and the Miami Thugs).

For me, it all goes back to the infamous tie between ND and MSU..and the writers put us no 3, and took away our 3rd in a row NC. Our battle cry back then was, "yeah, we are no 3..right behind the GB Packers and the KC Chiefs"! (1st Super Bowl teams).

I am afraid that the sportswriters will somehow take away MFBATR's chances. ...Just because we are ALABAMA.
