So, with the win Friday night Bama clinches a share of their sixth SEC regular season title.  Another win this weekend gives Alabama the championship outright. If LSU wins twice, the teams would finish with identical 16-8 conference records, and would be recognized as co-champions, with tie-breaker scenarios only coming into effect to determine seeding for the SEC Tournament.

The SEC Network said that if LSU won the last 2 games, they would be the #1 seed in the SEC tournament, I guess because of head-to-head competition.

The tie breaker is head-to-head but does not affect who wins the regular season championship. Should LSU take the series 2-1 LSU and Bama share the title. The tie breaker decides SEC tournament seeding. Bama just needs to win the series and take the title out right.

Bama goes, hit, caught stealing, walk, hit and then two  straight pop-outs.  0-0 LSU coming to bat.

Bama gets a leadoff double, then a walk,  sac to 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.  The next batter walks to load the bases, with the top of the order coming up.  Brown walks to bring in the first run keeping the bases loaded with 1 out.  Tow walks to bring in the 2nd run with Hemphill coming to the plate with 1 out.  There is a pitching change for LSU.  Hemphill walks to bring in the 3rd run.  Schroder at bat with one out and strikes out.  Sides at the plate, pops out to short to end the inning.  Going into the bottom of the 2nd, Bama up 3-0.  This umpire is not a pitcher's umpire.

3 runs on one hit. Umpire has a tight strike zone.
