If Tua is healthy and healed does he start the game or does Jalen?  Out of respect for Jalen I would let him start or at least start at some offensive position!

Tua is our starter.

It'll be Tua, but I expect Jalen to either play more, or have an additional role at another position.

Tua is the starter if he's healthy, no question. But with a month to work in some additional ways to get a healthy Hurts the ball in his hands, I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the field a little more. We've seen both on the field a handful of time this year. I have to believe there's a play in the playbook where Tua is at QB but he gets the ball to Jalen in the backfield on a toss or lateral and Jalen tries to throw deep.

Agreed, Tua is our starter.  If we play Oklahoma I think we will see Jalen more in order to keep the ball away from Murray.  We might not need to throw a pass to win.  Whoever we play they now have to prepare for two quarterbacks.

Great win yesterday - the close games are fun.  These are the one's we remember and Jalen will be remembered.

Tua is Bama's starter.  When healthy, there is no one else like him.  I think Tua has not been 100% healthy since the LSU/MS State duo of games.  He did not look quite the same vs. The Citadel or Auburn.  Instead of blowing out teams early, Tua had to warm up during the first half before he got his mojo back.

After his ankle injury on the first drive vs. Georgia, Tua was not able to set his feet or scramble well at all.  This was not the Tua we saw at the beginning of the season.  This was Tua playing injured.

Having said that, Jalen presents an entirely different puzzle for defenses to prepare for.  He is better at scrambling and running, and he is right handed.  Because teams are going to assume Tua will be the starter, they will watch how teams have defended him.  So if Jalen starts the game instead, it would be a monkey wrench they aren't ready for.

My vote is:  Tua starts if he is 100% and can play like he did at the start of the season.  Otherwise, Jalen should start the first playoff game and take advantage of the wrong defense to defend against him.

Tua because CNS does not believe an injury take away the position. Although, both players will play. We have another 2 in a row to consider. RTR!

I also wonder about the health of our team yesterday. We know Josh had the flu. Hard to believe he was the only one.

No way do I believe Tua will be 100% for the OU game. Maybe Jalen will be.  So, to me, it's irrelevant who goes out there for the first snap.  We are going to need them both to play.

Tua's practice time will surely be limited and that will affect how game ready he is.

I don’t think OU’s defense would be capable of stopping Mac Jones. Now they don’t know if they have to face Tua or Jalen. Bama’s going to score at least 50.

Agree, but they don't have practice for the next two weeks per Saban. Physical therapy can work wonders nowadays and he will have daily therapy, I bet. I think in a month, Jalen will be 100% and Tua 88% to 91%, which is still pretty good. Tua will start, but we will have Jalen ready.
