By the way, mensa is not for geniuses, it is for geniuses that want everybody else to know they are geniuses.  A true (very stable) genius acts like a buffoon and causes everyone else to underestimate his intelligence.

I think the top 1% is considered genius, or used to be.  But in the snowflake culture we live in today I think they have shied away from having a measurable label.  Otherwise the other 99% might need to go to their safe space and color some pictures.
