I’ve watched most of LSU’s games this year. They’re not a great team. Miami is awful. Auburn is terrible. Florida is average. Georgia was overrated and untested. LSU has a good defense and a mediocre offense.

If Tua plays the whole game, Bama easily gets 40-60 points. LSU might get to 20. Might. A 14 point spread is too close. Bama rolls.

I agree that LSU is overrated and their QB is average, at best. LSU has gotten a lot of cred by beating #8 Miami (now 5-3 and unranked), Auburn was #7 (now 5-3 & unranked), #2 Georgia (now #6 but still a lot of uncertainty), Mississippi State now #21 is 5-3, plus LSU was manhandled by Florida. No way do I see us playing conservative. We will continue with our regular offense. The only way LSU can win is by rushing only 4
have 7 in coverage, and pressuring or sacking Tua on a regular basis. If Devonta Smith is healthy, plus the trio of Irv Smith, Jerry Judy, and Henry Ruggs will make LSU burnt toast. We haven't even mentioned D. Harris, Josh Jacobs, and Najee Harris at running back.

Not much faith in this congregation.  I already dread the panic if we don't roll over LSU from the opening kick.

Enjoy the game, folks.  We'll kick their Cajun butts.   Kiss

Applause E-Cred I hear you Chechem. I have to get really stern in my wondering why Eli is acting so crazy. I am sure you all will keep me updated on the goofy stuff except the penalties. I just hate stupid penalties. RTR!

I think you are underestimating LSU, and misstating the facts.

Beating Georgia by 20 points is no small feat.  "uncertainty"  Huh?

LSU beat Miami and MS State by 16 points.

And LSU wasn't "manhandled" by Florida.  It was a one score game.

Miami, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss -- that is a much harder schedule than Bama has faced (Aggies, Mizzou, TN, Louisville, Arkansas).

This will be, by far, the toughest opponent Bama has faced.  And a good test of how good Bama really is.

Saying differently is just spreading rat poison.

See, there's proof I think it will be close.   Wink

But I'll go ahead and give LSU another TD.

It's also worth pointing out that LSU's OL was severely hampered by injuries during the Florida loss.

Spent some time on the barner board then come back over here, Phil. You'll think CRS is the Mensa chatroom.

I tried to find the Harvard chatroom for comparison, but they don't seem to have one.
