Tornado updates - last week of April 2014

Thanks fellas. We are fine and insurance has everything covered and repairs are underway. If you could see our WF neighborhood you would be a amazed by how many trees fell and how few direct hits there were on houses. And no one suffered as much as a scratch. Talk about dodging a bullet.

I live here in Kimberly and this is my church. The tornado came within 100 feet of my house and didn't raise a shingle. Praise God.
We open our church to the community for a storm shelter and 25 people were in the church when it hit. A few bumps and cuts was the worst that happened.
Lot of destruction here but no lives lost.

My wife, sister, BinL were visiting my mom back on 2011 when we had that epic tornado breakout. My wife and I were visiting my mom this year a week before this breakout. Maybe we need to change months for visiting?

I think from now on on April 26 I'm going in a hole and not come out 'til the 28th.

never seen hail like we had here 
and that is including even out in the mid-west

busted out our sky-light 
space age plastic crap like the windows on the space Shuttle

when water starts to drip from the poot fans in the bathrooms ?
you know you have a problem 

but all in all , we were very lucky and VERY BLESSED

I'm glad all of you made it though with minimal issues.

I don't know what to make of this weather. Being born and raised in Bama, we get used to bad weather in Spring. But not to the extent that we have seen over the last few years.

I'm beginning to think a storm shelter would be a very good investment.
