July is just about over. I was looking forward to the first of Sept. for the games but not so this year. RTR!
Guess I won’t be watching any games from Yellowstone this year. Oh well, then why come home??

Grits, hush puppies, shrimp loaf, etc.

ROFL those grits sound like the winner. RTR!
Thought at least one of you might mention marital obligations.

Still no modem. Limited web usage (via cell). Ugh.

Did you get a lightning strike in the area, Chech? If so, it might have damaged your equipment. Have you tried resetting your modem?

I had the pleasure of sleeping in this morning. One of the perks of coming to P'cola. Being lazy comes to a screeching halt now, though. Got to get things ready for my grandson's birthday. Oh, and today is Mine and Mrs 2's anniversary.

Did I reset the modem.  Angry  All 5 of the AT&T idiots on the phone kept asking me that. I’d tried it LONG before calling for help. Of course the modem was dead. I’m no idiot. It wouldn’t light up!!  And I could have strangled the friggin idiot who asked if I had power to the surge protector!!

A new modem is being sent. Even though they promised it by Saturday (today) the tracking says Monday.  Angry

Not happy here in friggin Mississippi.

Thanks OT, but it does tend to sneak up on you when one minute it's July, then the next, your anniversary.

Touch a nerve, did I, Chech?  Laughing

Good afternoon folks.  Runt and I got out early this morning and got our mowing done.  Back home now to spend the last few hours with the middle daughter before she heads back to Bluffton, SC.  This week with her home has been nice.  She told me that she is going to be buying a townhouse after the 1st of the year. I hate that because that means she definitely will not be moving back here...  Sad

Good morning. Coffee

Still no modem, so posting is a pain.

JT got himself into contention yesterday at Memphis golf. Today should be good.

Cool here today: 65.  Dancing

Safe travels. And enjoy your rock n roll church, 2.

God Sunday morning!

Sorry about your modem, Chech. Did you try resetting it?

Glad to hear JT is back in it. Maybe he'll finish strong today and win it.

My grandson's birthday party was a smashing success yesterday. The only drawback was that in May, I ordered a commemorative, embossed Bama football for him, to be autographed by Tua. Because of the covid, that has been delayed. It won't come to me for another 2 weeks.

Good morning folks.  Beautiful morning here.  Had a great visit with the daughter.  She left last night around 8:30 to make the 8 hour drive back to her home.  She texted me at 4:30 this morning saying she made it. I hate for her to drive that far that late at night but I think at least she does miss a lot of traffic...

Sorry about not getting the football in time for the b'day party 2. I'm sure he will love it just as much.  Maybe more if you make another special trip to Pensacola just to give it to him when it does come...

Good morning to all. It is a bad morning I won't get to church this morning my back and hip is bad. The VA has messed my morphine up and it will be probably 4 days late getting here. So I will be out and I won't be any fun. Looking forward to football and BTW, 2 hope your grandson has fun. RTR!

Really sorry about your back and meds mix up, Preacher. If it makes you feel any better, I took your place in Church today.

Had the whole family with me. It was really great. Even though the music is pretty modern for church standards, the message was a good one and taken straight from the scriptures. My daughters and SIL attend this church regularly now, and after seeing it first hand, I am good with it and very happy they've chosen this path.

Now, I'm chillin' with the boys from the PGA tour.

I saw that the astronauts splashed down in the Gulf south of P'cola. A lot of action your way, 2.

They sure did, OT. Very close to where Chech and I (and NALT once) go fishing.

Good morning.  Panic

Modem supposed to arrive this morning. The AT&T rep promised we’d have it in 24 hours; that would’ve been Saturday. Grrr. We’re getting a new service ASAP.

Great to see JT come back and win in Memphis yesterday. That’s two weeks in a row that Bama boys were the winner!  Sweet.

Braves won again; 5 in a row now. Pinch me!

Heard it was over 90 in Yellowstone yesterday. Wildfire season is coming.

Glad you had a good weekend, 2.
