Happy Hump Day Eve!

I'm up early today. Got an 8:00 tee time in Simpsonville this morning. Gonna be a hot one, so I'm taking extra golf towels and water.

The sports world is abuzz about the Miami Marlins outbreak of the covid-19. Casts even more doubt on a college football season.

RAIN EXPECTED BY NOON TODAY!



Yesterday was hot and dry, so I mixed up more cement and finished filling in cracks in the driveway.  I also took a package to the UPS Store.  It was a spotting scope lens that arrived broken, and even the packaging inside the shipping box was damaged (it had been damaged before shipping).  But it was bought via Amazon, so returning it wasn't difficult.  The bastid who sold it should be shot (NALT, you available?).

Today it's another walking morning (sweating and climbing hills), then back home.  Time to start organizing for the next trip west.  BTW, word arrived today of a bison kill near the wolf dens in Yellowstone.  Yesterday 2 grizzlies battled with wolves for the carcass.  I've gotta get there asap.

Not very well it seems.  The grizzlies ate almost the entire carcass before enough wolves gathered to drive them away.

Good morning folks.  Nice 1/2 day off yesterday.  Middle daughter got here safely, well, almost safely.  She said the car driving in front of her didn't swerve to avoid hitting a car tire laying on the interstate.  It threw the tire up in the air and it came down on the hood of her truck, broke the right side mirror off  and then bounced off of the side of the truck bed.  She wasn't hurt or even very badly scared.  She was able to get dome duct tape and get it taped back in place until she can get back to SC and the Toyota dealership where she works so they can repair the damage.

Yes, chech, I'm available to shoot someone for ya.  Just point them out to me and I'll start slinging lead...
