Hope all you mothers enjoy yourselves today.

The softball team lost 2-1 to Florida for the SEC Tournament Championship last night.  I mention that because 2 kept referring to the ump as a mother.

No rain until 10am this morning.  It's foggy and cool (60).  Go outside and enjoy it while you can.

I believe that's half of what I called him.

Happy Mother's Day, indeed. I've been Mother's Daying with Mrs 2 this morning since none of our kids are here. Mrs 2 is under the weather, so making her overly happy just ain't happening. She liked what I gave her, so I'm in her good graces for a while.  Cheesy

I gave LF what she wanted too: sleep.  She's still sleeping.

BTW, I was wrong about the rain.  It's raining again now.

Raining here big time. I really thought we could win the SEC championship sorry we did not. Happy Mothers Day to those who are still here with their families. My Mother went to Heaven on 13 March 2010. Sure do miss her wish I could go see her again. RTR!

Good morning folks and Happy Mother's Day to you all.  I'm sorry that Mrs. 2 is under the weather.  Hopefully that won't last long for her.  Unfortunately, Mrs. Nalt's mother was put in the hospital in Huntsville on Friday, the day I arrived out here in Colorado Springs.  She has pneumonia and it was actually worse on Saturday morning than it was Friday evening when they admitted her.  Mrs. Nalt will be taking our three that still live at home to see her today.

Preacher, my mom passed away on February 27, 2013 and it still hurts almost as much as it did that day.  I'm not ready to go see her though but I definitely wouldn't mind if she could come back to see me again...

Sorry to hear about your MIL, NALT. Praying that she gets better.

My mother passed away in 1993. I too, miss her very much. She was a wonderful lady.

Good morning.    Coffee

Mother's Day is done.  We can get back to watching TV and leaving socks in the living room.

Looks like a nice day; cool and no rain expected.  And sunny (whatever that is).

Most of the posts from last night dealt with colonoscopies and Bama getting screwed by the softball seedings.  Can we just merge these threads?

I've got one more day of picking up my socks. Today is Mrs 2's birthday. I pretty much go broke this time of year.

You can't buy your way out, my friend.  You'll prolly have to wash dishes today too.

Happy Birthday to Mrs. 2.

Yeah, my finger will be worn out from pushing the start button on the dishwasher.

Gil came down from Kentucky this weekend and we somehow got in golf both days. We got rained on some, but completed both rounds. I shot an 81 Saturday and a 76 yesterday. T'was a good weekend.

Our dishwasher is old and hardly works.  It's 6'3" and about 235 lbs.

Dang, 2, your golfballing is sounding great.  Better let Gil win occasionally or he won't come back!

Better step it up or she'll be looking for a newer model.

Gil's used to it.

Good call. Dishwashers do indeed, need to fish occasionally.
