Hello guys.

RE and I spent 6 hours on the beach yesterday.  It was a glorious day, but not much for catching fishing.  Technically we caught one: a tiny seahorse.  It wrapped its tail around my line just above my hook.  Weird!



We considered frying it up!!  

BTW, the water was full of Devil Rays (Mobula hypostoma), which are small plankton feeders that zoom along the waves near shore.  We watched them all afternoon in the clear water.

The rain is gone, but it left our yard full of pine cones and needles.  Haven't been out to explore much yet.  Just glad it wasn't worse.

We had a good trip to the coast, but alas the fish didn't cooperate.  The beach was lined with rods; nobody caught any, not even the guys who waded out chest deep to cast beyond the sand bar.  Only real fish we saw caught was from a passing boat; guy spotted fish and cast with a flyrod to hook and land a Jack Crevalle.

Next time for sure!

Good morning folks.  Sorry the fish didn't cooperate for you and RE there Chech.  Like you said, maybe next time...Storms rolled through my area very early this morning but didn't do any damage that I've seen.  Thankful for that.

Sorry your fishing wasn’t more eventful, Chech, but I’m glad you survived the storms. I was able to get my walk in this morning. I only got sprinkled on, so kotvtoo bad.

Took the day off yesterday to watch the plumbers tear up our kitchen floor to repair a leaking pipe under the slab. In case you were wondering, that’s not cheap.  Undecided

Anyway, back to work today.
