Good morning, all. 

No severe weather here, but I heard on the news that there were tornado warnings near Jackson, MS.  LOTS of rain here all day yesterday and into the night.  The thunder here rumbled all day, but mostly it was cloud-to-cloud.

We've had enough rain, thank you God.

Haven't heard any thunder here since I've come back up here. We just get a lot of light rain.

Mrs 2 and I will be going to Lowes this morning to pick out some flooring for the kitchen, since it has been violated. I get to spend more money. Yay!!!

I've got some flyfishing preparations to do today, unless the Masters is actually played.  I really don't want to watch Vern discuss the cloud formations during rain delays.

All we need is Tiger staring at the trees to gauge the wind again.  Seems that every time he did that he followed with a mishit (interesting word), sending the ball into Rays Creek or the deep forest.  HIT THE BALL; STOP THINKING.  Always been my motto.

The Pensacola surf forum is full of stories of folks CATCHING NOTHING lately.  And usually the only ones who post are ones who were successful.  One guy caught nothing the entire week!  Even the expert guy, who is among the winners in the pompano contests, admitted that it's been a terrible year thus far.

First time I fished with 2 we got to the beach, started preparing the rods, and he announced: “My buddy thinks I’m jinxed. I never catch anything.”

That was the start of a fine friendship.
