Good morning folks.  It rained here most of the day yesterday and I think most of the night too.  Wish I could have came over and helped with the gun show Chech.  I'm sure it would have been lots of fun.  Maybe someday... 2, are you going to do the duck walk this morning?  More studying this afternoon for me.  Even though the instructor allows open book/open notes those tests still aren't easy...

I don't normally walk on the weekends, NALT. I got enough exercise swinging the golf club way too many times yesterday anyway.

Good luck on your test. If you get the opportunity, do the extra credit stuff.
Thanks.  They haven't said anything about extra credit yet.  Fortunately I haven't needed it yet as both my classes I'm working on "A's" currently at the mid-point of the semester.

Good morning.  Coffee

Feels like 4:30AM.  No news.  I'm dragging with this time change.

Good morning folks.  I'm dragging too and the cold temps aren't helping any.  I saw some snow falling on the way in to work.  Wouldn't hurt my feelings if I never see another snowflake ...  [/endrant]

Hope you all have a wonderful day... Kiss

Well we are back on. Sunday morning about 2:30 AM we took a direct hit to our house from lightning. It blowed a whole in the ground at the left front end of our house where it entered the cement blocks that underpin the house. It blowed pictures and a clock off the wall in the living room. In the bedroom it sounded like a grande went off as it had a big ball of fire in the telephone jack. It blew the jack completely out of the wall. It blew the modem plug off the cord and it exploded into little pieces. It tripped every breaker in our house panel and we was out of water till this afternoon when the sheriff's department came over with workers and had to pull our water lines completely out of the well. It blew the one water line completely off the foot valve in our well. We just got water back today. Centurylink guy told me it blew a fiber optic cable underground into up near Oak Level and all the East Alabama people up that way is out internet.
Everybody listen make sure you are well grounded in your homes cause lightning can kill and the Grace of GOD our house didn't burn down and Mrs Dottie and I are still alive. RTR!

Holy cow Preacher. Glad y’all are ok. I went through that when we lived in Wetumpka about 30 yrs ago. It’s no fun. It zapped every electronic we had in our house. Like you, we were lucky the House didn’t catch fire. Thoughts and prayers for you and Mrs Dottie.

Oh my gosh, Preacher, that's frightening. Just glad y'all are okay.  Guess God was watching you.

We're off to the coast to visit cousins for a couple of days.  Taking Red Elephant with me; not that he says much on CRS except during games.  We'll be on the road, so wish us safe travels.

Looking forward to fishing next week!!

Keep it tween the ditches out there, Chech. Tell RE I said hello.

Yep, getting closer to fishing time. I really hope that coincides with catching time.
