Good morning folks.  I was up a while ago. Just checking out some videos on Instagram for a while.  Having another beautiful day here but with a cold start. 

So......... did you have a fun birthday??

Ummm, well, not really.  I had planned to spend most of the day alone at home doing some things but that didn't happen.  Oldest boy's baseball tourney was cancelled so he was around.  Later in the afternoon he was being pretty ornery towards Mrs. Nalt so I had to intervene and that went badly.  I did manage to get a couple of hours to myself that I used to grill me a steak and fry some potatoes for lunch though.  It wasn't the day I had hoped for but at least no one got arrested or dead... 

Yeah, we'd hate to have to come bail you out of jail on your birthday. 

  Not that it'd be the first time we've bailed out a CRS member!!   

  Nevermind...  Anyways, it wouldn't have been me that got arrested but good to know that I might have someone I could call for bail if I need it... 

We get it, NALT.  Easier to make jokes than address the obvious.

Another frost here on the knob this morning. Mrs Dottie has a lot of pain this morning in her left leg it use to be the right till the hip replacement now it is the other. I hope you all have a great day. Getting ready to head to church preaching on ST. Matt. 13 this morning.  RTR!

A cold 41 degrees here this morning. Trying to talk myself into going for my walk. Don't know if I'll be able to pull that off.

Phil beat JT on the first playoff hole yesterday. Congrats to him. Been 5 years since his last win. Bama put an azz whoopin' on Oklahoma yesterday in baseball, 13-1. Was glad to see that. Unfortunately, the ladies didn't fare so well.

RAIN is back.  At least it isn't a severe storm; just rain.

Yes, good golf.  I enjoyed seeing JT play well.

Sad day yesterday.  We were loading the truck for fishing, and suddenly my friend's old dog collapsed in seizures.  She died shortly thereafter.  Great old dog.  We buried her behind his barn, and marked the site with 2 large corner stones.

Yeah, I know.  This ole dog traveled with him to work every day, slept in a crate in his bedroom, and was alongside him daily.  I worry about his loneliness now.  She'll be missed.

Agreed.  You will age fast if you keep having those weekends, NALT.  Hope you find some solutions, and soon.

And hopefully the sports teams will get their acts together (for our entertainment).

Cool again, but the rain is gone.  Woot.

Time for the bb tournament.   

I'm off to a gun show this weekend instead of watching Arkansas battle Vandy for the tournament title, or whatever.  Those of you fed up with bb can always watch Tiger in the PR Open.
