Good morning folks.  Still pretty chilly here but I'm not sure of the actual temp.  Colder than I like regardless.  Don't overdo things Chech.  Running a saw isn't easy and is extremely dangerous.  My shoulder is still improving but that is slow.  Still a good bit of pain too but thankfully I still have plenty of my little white friends... I just wish the healing would go faster... 2, still thinking/praying for you and the family regarding your brother...

Thanks NALT. Need extended prayers for my nephews wife. On top of her grief at the loss of her husband, her sister was also in an accident last night and is in the hospital.

Good morning. 

RAIN coming tonight, but today should be another beauty (like yesterday).  It got up to 60 yesterday, so I went out into the woods again to finish the job on the downed tree.  Managed to get all of the pieces (huge logs) moved, then sat and enjoyed the comfy weather.

A friend showed me a photo of a "black panther" from his brother's wildlife camera in nearby region of our county.  Said his wife won't let the kids out into the yard now.  Not a great pic, but indeed it looks like it could be a large cat. I'll try to post it later.

Good news about the sister. She was released from the hospital. Apparently, she was just banged up pretty good.

It will be a while before there will be services for my nephew. Since there was a commercial vehicle involved, there is an extensive investigation on the way and the body will be held, up to 17 days, until completed. Looking likely to be next weekend. I appreciate all the prayers.

Here's the "black panther".  First, there's no such thing.  Panthers (Mt Lions) don't have the gene for black (melanistic).  Jaguars do.  Wrong habitat for jaguars in Mississippi.  Maybe, if real, it's a zoo escapee?  Maybe a dog, house cat, monkey?

Good morning folks.  2, I'm glad you finally got some good news about your family.  Hopefully more good news to come.  Pace yourself Chech.  If you are going to be out in the woods using a chainsaw take someone with you for safety.  If you come across the black cat then having someone with you can save your life.  Just remember, you don't have to out run the cat, just out run your partner.  If you take a hiking stick with you then you can use that to take out your partner's knee making it much easier to out run him/her...  You're welcome...

Rainy this morning; looks like light rain all morning, then heavy rain all afternoon.  Glad I got the work done in the woods.  I repaired a wooden bridge we have over a dry creekbed.  A tree limb had fallen on it during high winds, so I repacled a few 2X4s.  Took longer than expected.  I didn't see any panthers.

Lots of recruits visiting Bama this weekend.  We still need a couple of more CBs, a kicker, and some linemen.  Lately we've hired more coaches than we've committed recruits! 

Off to Memphis this morning to buy some lumber with my buddy (to build cabinets and such).  Enjoy!
