Dye said Auburn recruits in Alabama, Georgia and Florida, so being in the East is a natural fit. He pointed out the Tigers don't recruit Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

"We don't need to let Alabama dictate what we do at Auburn," Dye said. "That's what happened when they divided the teams up in the conference."

Didn't anyone tell Pat that the junior varsity is ALWAYS subordinate to the varsity team?

I like his desire to beat Bama "on occasion."  And to only play us every other year.  Not much bravery at the Loneliest Village.

Hey Pattie if ya scared say scared don't be embarrassed to not want to play us every year. lol, nobody else does either but what if you had to play us 2 times like Basketball does? RTR!

Good soggy morning. We've had over 10 inches of rain since midnight and 15 total inches since midnight Tuesday, with no relief in sight. My phone went off all night about flash flood warnings, and the wind blew over some things in the back yard. Sometimes life on the Gulf Coast has it's drawbacks. Good thing I saved the lumber from the house flooding. Maybe I've got enough to build an ark.

Well it has been raining here off and on all night. I see the storm we have coming and it looks like we will be on the right side of it so more rain. Other than that all is well. I guess Chechem is pulling a Grizzly plan of hibernating, lol. RTR!

Well, the rain has stopped for the time being. Mrs 2 and I have a doc appt in Gulf Breeze, but many road closures. Not sure we can even get to Gulf Breeze.

Good morning.  Having coffee before heading to the lake. 

Not hibernating, Preacher, just busily having fun.  We fish all morning until the wind starts blasting, then have lunch.  We fish the rivers during the afternoons or enjoy the scenery.

I see the tropical storm came ashore, and everyone along the coast is getting heavy rain.  Hope everyone is okay.  Be safe!

I had a good report from the surgeon yesterday. Kidney levels are returning to normal. Will probably be normal in about 2-3 weeks. He was blown away that I'm up to walking 2 miles. Told me I have nothing to worry about. I've been given the freedom to drive again. Next goal; being given the freedom to drive the golf ball again.
