Good Thursday morning. 2 days to the big showdown between TAMU and Bama. Starting to get a little nervous. I know this isn't the same team that Trevor Knight lit up a couple of years ago, but I worry that we bring out the best in him. Heck his team isn't even the same team.  
Maybe I worry too much.  

No, you should worry a bit about A&M.  They're undefeated, had a week off to prepare for us, and have capable players at every position.  It should be a game worthy of our full attention.  Pop some corn, crack open a beer, and enjoy.

Storms reach us today.  Could be thunder and rain, then much cooler (COLD) afterwards.  Winter is coming.  One of my fishing buddies sent me a photo of the Madison River (Wyoming); snow on the ground and more falling.  He's flyfishing.  It looked VERY cold.
 

Brrr..... I got cold just reading that. Winter will be here soon enough. Looks like it will hold off here for a while, although cooler temps are on the way. Maybe it will start getting us in the holiday spirit. They're already running Christmas commercials, and that's not doing it.

BTW, Mrs. 2's phone sent me a text spam yesterday: "check out your photos on Ever".

I got a text like that yesterday too but don't know who it was from...so I deleted it...

You can always do like I do, just ask the Mrs. what it is she wants and either go get it for her or tell her to go get it for herself... What can I say?  It works for me...

Yeah, us guys are 'turrible' at Christmas.  That's about all I do.  Just wish I could come up with a cool gift this year. 
Plus, it might be good for an extra week of fishing...

Yeah, somebody hacked a friends account and it came to my phone, which has Mrs 2's FB account on it (Don't ask). Apparently, it accesses your contacts and sends them the "Ever" app. I deleted it, but prolly too late.

Well today it is cool here and my back and bones testify to that. It is going to be nice for some but not for us crippled old folks. I got a Blessing yesterday. The VA called and a lady told me I should have been exempt from all the costs on my medicine but I have to send them 27.39 more next month and I will be exempt the rest of the year which is until next May. I then have to call her every year so that can put my name under the exempt list. I know when you read this it will be odd because it was to me. I am exempt but I got to pay. Well have a Blessed day all. RTR!

Yeah, pretty darn slow for the Thursday before the biggest game of the year, so far. I guess everybody has a Tennessee blowout hangover. I hope the team doesn't.

CNS said the team had an enthusiastic and productive practice yesterday.  So don't worry about complacency. 

Right now I'm looking out at some big thunderboomers.  Looks like a mess on the way!
