Not much information coming out of the Bama practices, except Alphonse Taylor continues to improve.  He attended practice Tuesday.

Looks like a big-time cold front arrives Thursday.  Highs in the 60s on Friday, with north winds up to 20k.  YIKES!  Here's the map showing storm buildup:

Good morning folks.  Back to work finally after being off for 11 days.  Good to be off work but it is also good to be back at work...

I went to see Dad after work today.  He was lying in bed looking at his phone.  I asked him how he feels and he said that he feels really good.  He also said that a nurse came in this morning at 5 a.m. and got him up to go walking.  He did two laps around the nurse's station.  Later he did it again with his physical terrorist.  He said when his doctor came in that he said that if Dad continues to improve that he may discharge him tomorrow (Thursday) and send him home instead of rehab.  I am so thankful to each of you that have offered prayers for Dad.  God does answer prayers and I think my dad is a living, walking testament to that...

I got a call today from the VA and they said after we pay 27.39 I will be exempt for any money on medicine from now on. My question was why was I not from the start? NO answer for my question and I also can't get my money back that has been paid in. She actually said I should be exempt from my copays on and monies on medicines. Praise Jesus for that. RTR!

Good Thursday morning. 2 days to the big showdown between TAMU and Bama. Starting to get a little nervous. I know this isn't the same team that Trevor Knight lit up a couple of years ago, but I worry that we bring out the best in him. Heck his team isn't even the same team.

No, you should worry a bit about A&M.  They're undefeated, had a week off to prepare for us, and have capable players at every position.  It should be a game worthy of our full attention.  Pop some corn, crack open a beer, and enjoy.

Storms reach us today.  Could be thunder and rain, then much cooler (COLD) afterwards.  Winter is coming.  One of my fishing buddies sent me a photo of the Madison River (Wyoming); snow on the ground and more falling.  He's flyfishing.  It looked VERY cold.
